This original oil painting of koi fish and the organic reflections on the waters surface was a lovely challenge. The shapes and colors are so abstract, almost like a Kandinsky painting. I loved creating this as ponds are probably my favorite subject to paint. As a pisces, I can relate to these fish and could watch them swim around for hours.
